Who Is The Artist?
'If one really loves nature, one can find beauty everywhere.' ~ by Vincent van Gogh
Another beautiful day and discovery. Nature will always find a way to show off her beauty. Today myself and Matthew went out for our usual one hour plus exploration walk around the subdivision. As he was looking for his friends and calling anyone his size a friend - 'Hi friends'; I was looking for things nature will let me to take snapshot of. Sometimes, it is just the same thing over and over again, but then these grooves on the side of the curb caught my eye. It rained last night, so all the earthworms were out. They found a way to slide close to the curb on the soft wet sand. Not knowing, they created a nice abstract art work, a work I am showing off today.

ReplyDeleteMe gustan las fotos de lo que no tiene importancia y pasa desapercibido para las demás personas: son las mejores¡¡¡¡
ReplyDeleteUn saludo
I used to play with earthworms when I was small, they are such simple beings. The pattern left by 'coily' earthworms (don't know their English name) is also beautiful, looks like spirals. :) Thanks Anna, my morning is nicer!
ReplyDeleteHey Anna,
ReplyDeleteThis is one beautiful abstract! I must congratulate the artists: the warms LOL! Seriously now, your eyes caught a real natural beauty :D.
But what I liked was to hear that Matthew calls everybody his size "Hi friends" - how cute is that? That baby boy is a perfect PR...I am telling you!
Excellent post :D!
Cheers
I love the quote. Nature rocks for sure.

ReplyDeleteWorms are clever little artists. :)

ReplyDeleteYou've got a great eye to see and capture this abstract art.
ReplyDeleteHi Anna,
ReplyDeleteI, too, loved the idea of Matthew calling everyone his size "friends" - he is starting out life on the right foot for sure!
I've never noticed worm art, but love this abstract image that your sharp eye spotted, and will be on the lookout for nature art in my surroundings.
This is really an amazing find Anna! So nice of you to share it :)
ReplyDeleteI have tagged you on my 7 Things About Me [I've been tagged!] post
Hi Anna,
ReplyDeleteThis is so true... Nature is full of Natural art and we sometime take it for granted and overlook at it!! You took a beautiful picture and I love the way you're looking at nature!
There is no artist as good as Mother Nature. She supplies us with an endless variety so things are never dull. What a great capture Anna.
ReplyDeleteLa naturaleza nos regala continuamente imágenes fantásticas. Algunas fáciles de ver, pero también muchas otras que hay que saber aislar y capturar con la cámara; tan estupendamente como en esta fotografía. Saludos.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot. Wonderful are the ways of nature.
ReplyDeletenice, great abstract, I think nature will always create beautiful things
ReplyDeletethank you for your visit
Hi! If you hadn't mentioned worms I would have sworn what I was looking at was a close up of the moon!
ReplyDeleteTake Care,
Peter
Nice photo :)
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend :)
It makes a lovely abstract, like a landscape. I guess it IS an earthworm landscape!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got out with Matthew.
He's outgoing like our daughter was. When we went grocery shopping, she would sit in the shopping cart saying, "Hello, Man," and "Good Morning, Lady," to everyone! Too much "Mr. Rogers," I guess, lol....
Anna:
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely wow! You have such a keen eye for natural detail. I love this shot. It kind of reminds of Europa, the sixth moon of Jupiter. Check it out.
Happy trails.
Earthworms as artists, and good ones they are.
ReplyDeleteYour story reminds me of when my youngest daughter was quite younger and very outgoing and friendly. We went to a basketball game and when we got inside she tried to let go of my hand saying, "I need to go find my friends!". I said that I was not sure she knew anyone there and she said something along the lines of: "Well not yet, but when I do they will be my friends, can I go now".
Great quote and how true, nature can create some beautiful things to appreciate.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right it's really difficult to find something new to photograph.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very nice picture, I would never have thought about it.
very nicely noticed!
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing. :)
ReplyDeleteWell observed dear and nice you captured this. Indeed it looks like an art!
ReplyDeleteWe have much around us and we have to find it to realize.

Very artistic image, Anna! I love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this shot. If you don't tell me that this art was made by earthworms, I will guess about texture of rock.
ReplyDeleteAbsolute artists those worms Anna, and you're the artist that caught the artists ;) A great capture my friend
ReplyDeleteInteresting image Anna, you definitely have an artistic eye. Beautiful capture and framing. Really like the textures and details here. Amazing how a child sees the world, so innocent and unprejudiced.
ReplyDeleteLets get some and go fishing Anna! :)
ReplyDeleteAnna: That was a neat find from the worms, nicely captured.
